Hello all! This is the third installment in my series. Refining my technique and approach still. These are the photos and this is the video link(JUNK3) Hope you enjoy!

  1. The second photo from the top - it is like a crowd looking in on something and we are the little kid too short to see. Then you look straight down in the final pic and it feels like a forcefield held in place by a single beacon. This is beginning to remind me of the piano in that there are so many lives that you can find for these objects. I want to paint the second photo!

Do you just start to stack them and fabricate as you go? Or do you think ahead of time "I am going to close this format this time" What if you were blindfolded?

  2. The narrative element of the video is getting stronger. Overall a good performance.

I think it would be even better if you exaggerate some of the key parts a little more, especially the beginning. Give yourself a little more time to consider each action. Maybe, place the 1st spike and really examine it before going on. Place another spike or two and examine them and rearrange and examine again. Slow this beginning down even more than you have now before going into the fast action. Rather than walking off toward the camera at the end, it would be more dramatic and come full circle to settle back in the corner.

I think you should do more with the lighting. It is still hard to see the spike elements and the great color and texture they have while you are building.
